Is the website really $0?
Yes, for selected businesses that choose Launch. Launch is normally $1,495, and the program covers all of it, so there is no MIE website-development cost. Your domain, hosting and any paid third-party services remain your own costs.
Do I have to purchase SEO?
No. You don't need to buy SEO or any other MIE service to apply, be selected or receive your website. Launch includes Basic SEO setup as part of the build. It doesn't include ongoing SEO work such as monthly optimization, recurring content, link building, citation campaigns, advanced keyword research, reporting or Google Business Profile management. MIE's ongoing SEO services are separate and optional.
What's included in the $0 website?
Everything in MIE's Launch package: up to 5 pages (Home, About, Services, Contact plus one more), mobile-responsive custom branded design, a contact/lead form, Basic SEO setup, Google Analytics and Search Console, fast-loading and secure hosting setup, and 30 days of post-launch support.
Can I choose Growth or Premium instead?
Yes. The same $1,495 applies: Growth is $1,500 (normally $2,995) and Premium is $3,500 (normally $4,995). Upgrading is optional.
Growth has up to 10 pages and everything in Launch, plus professionally written website copy, advanced SEO setup and keyword research, blog setup, Google Business Profile setup/optimization, booking/calendar integration, CRM integration, conversion tracking and 60 days of post-launch support.
Premium has up to 15 pages and everything in Growth, plus full website copywriting and messaging strategy, advanced keyword strategy and competitor research, custom forms and workflows, advanced CRM integrations, service-area/location pages, advanced conversion optimization, priority support for 90 days post-launch, and an optional ongoing monthly growth plan.
Who can apply?
Any legitimate, operating small business, whether you have no website yet or want to redesign the one you have. MIE runs the program in rounds, which may focus on particular areas, and selects a limited number of businesses in each based on fit and current program availability.
How are businesses selected?
A person at MIE reviews each application individually. Businesses are selected based on fit, not at random. Applying doesn't guarantee selection, and it doesn't commit you to anything.
What if I'm not selected?
We may contact other applicants with additional website opportunities or offers. There is no obligation to purchase anything.
What about domain, hosting and third-party costs?
Your business owns and pays for its domain. If you don't have one, MIE can help you register and set it up in your business's name. Ongoing hosting is also your cost: every package includes setting hosting up, not paying for it. Some websites use paid services such as a booking platform, a CRM subscription or premium images. Many don't, and MIE will discuss any paid service that isn't obvious and get your approval before taking it on.
What do I need to provide?
Accurate information about your business and services, your logo, and any photos or other materials you have. You don't need to write polished copy: for Launch, MIE can organize and edit what you provide into basic website copy. Professional copywriting is part of Growth and Premium.
How long does it take?
The timeline is confirmed with each selected business. It depends on the project's scope and on how quickly MIE receives the information and materials it needs.
How many revisions are included?
Launch includes up to two rounds of reasonable revisions within the agreed project scope.
Who owns the finished website?
Your business does, once the website is complete and any website-development amount due has been paid. With a $0 Launch website nothing is due, so ownership transfers to you at completion and launch.
Do I have to credit MIE or keep the site live for a set time?
No. A "Website by MIE Sales" footer credit isn't required, though MIE may ask whether you'd be comfortable including one. There is no minimum period your website has to stay live.
Will MIE feature my website in its marketing?
Only if you agree, and agreeing is entirely optional. It isn't a condition of being selected or of receiving your website. MIE may separately ask to show your completed website and name your business in its portfolio and marketing. Testimonials, results, performance figures or a case study would each need your separate permission.
What support is included after launch?
Launch includes 30 days of support for reasonable bug fixes and questions about the website MIE delivered. It doesn't cover new pages or features, redesigns, ongoing content updates, ongoing SEO, third-party subscription costs or unrelated technical work. Growth includes 60 days of post-launch support, and Premium 90 days of priority support. Any ongoing work after that is optional and agreed separately.
